Blake Richards thinks folk intent on causing trouble at public gatherings should not hide their faces…. are you sure?

Over at the Beaver I came across this quote from a Harper MP.

When trouble starts, people intent on criminal activity depend on being able to ‘mask up’ to conceal their faces with bandanas, balaclavas or other means to avoid being identified and being held accountable for their actions,”

I have no problems with this law as long as it is applied without favour and in a consistent manner. Like with the G20 Cops who masked up “to avoid being identified and being held accountable for their actions.” And they did commit many a criminal act on that weekend.

So Blake I salute you in your effort to gain some measure of recourse for the many victims of Bill Blair’s bully boys… What … Oh you didn’t mean the perpetrators of those crimes hey?

The Alberta MP’s bill exempts people from the bill that have a “lawful excuse” for covering their face. It does not define what a lawful excuse would be under the proposed legislation.

The word wanker keeps popping into my head whenever I hear someone use the words Canadian Conservative.
